Word of Life Church KidsCamp: Weeks 1-6 Summer Camp This partner is a multicultural Assemblies of God church located in Springfield, Virginia. Their mission is to help people encounter God, find community, discover purpose, and make a difference. Volunteers will assist camp counselors and leaders, lead games and activities, setup and cleanup, build relationships with children, support recreation and snack/lunch times, assist with special events and programming.

Community Enrichment and Support Center This partner is a nonprofit organization serving Fairfax County by helping individuals and families overcome homelessness, hunger, and poverty through youth programs, housing support, food distribution, and community outreach initiatives. Volunteers will mentor and encourage youth, support behavior guidance, help with setup and cleanup, and assist with field trip supervision as needed.

Senior Center Aarondale is a senior living community that helps with assisted living and memory care services. Volunteers will help by participating alongside residents throughout the day in games, crafts, music, and recreational activities.

Community Kitchen and Food Distribution This organization seeks to combat hunger and poverty through culinary job training, job creation, and distributing food where it is most needed. Volunteers will help by preparing meals and snacks for school summer programs and other assistance programs that serve homeless individuals and families.

Senior Outreach and Ministry This ministry serves the elderly, shut-ins, and widows at Word of Life Church and local area. They seek to encourage, support, and care for these individuals through fellowship, pastoral care, visitation, and practical assistance. Groups will serve these individuals through various project tasks including lawn care and maintenance, accessibility preparation, household projects, and providing encouragement and companionship.

Vacation Bible School Outreach This outreach and discipleship is one of the church’s largest events throughout the year, impacting children and families throughout the region. Volunteers will play a critical role in preparing for this event through transformation of ministry spaces, creating an immersive environment, and contributing to discipleship operations.

 Vacation Bible School Outreach Assistance This local church seeks to impact the neighborhoods and the nations by leading people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and helping them to grow to become like Him. Groups will help in this mission by contributing to their VBS program, teaching young students about Jesus through engaging activities, and assisting in program preparation.
